Hyderabad: Kondaveeti Sudhir Reddy, President of the Telangana Industrialists Federation (TIF), has played a pivotal role in strengthening Telangana’s industrial sector, particularly in the MSME segment. A civil engineering graduate from JNTU Hyderabad, Reddy transitioned from a 14-year academic career to entrepreneurship, establishing his own industry in 1996. Reddy emerged as a key leader in mobilising MSME industrialists and employees during the Telangana statehood movement. Under his leadership, TIF was founded in 2009 to provide a unified platform for industrialists supporting the cause. Post-State formation, TIF has actively collaborated with the Telangana government in shaping policies, notably contributing to TS-iPASS, the state’s industrial policy. His leadership extended to the Cherlapally Industries Association, where he served as president, as well as holding key roles in the Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) of IDA Cherlapally. During his tenure, Cherlapally was transformed into a zero-garbage, dustbin-free industrial estate, earning accolades from state and central agencies.

As the Managing Director of TIF Integrated Industrial Parks Pvt Ltd and Kinetic Organics & Plastics Pvt Ltd, Reddy continues to champion sustainable industrial expansion. TIF has been instrumental in facilitating industrial progress in Telangana, particularly through the establishment of the TIF MSME Green Industrial Park in Munugodu, covering 553 acres. The park, developed in collaboration with the Telangana government, provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for micro and small enterprises.

TIF’s initiatives include the development of a Common Facility Centre within the industrial park, offering amenities such as a skill development center, banks, food courts, guest rooms, and banquet halls. These efforts have attracted entrepreneurs from across India, contributing to employment generation and economic development in the region.

TIF’s influence extends beyond industrial growth, with its representation in various government bodies such as the Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC), GST Redressal Committee, and Coir Board. The federation has also organised seminars and discussions on agriculture, education, and industrial policies, including opposition to Section 8, advocating for Telangana’s economic autonomy. TIF’s contributions in policy formulation and industrial welfare have been widely recognised, with the federation actively supporting government efforts in industrial expansion and infrastructure enhancement.

Beyond industrial development, TIF has been committed to social responsibility. Under Reddy’s leadership, the federation and its members have donated significantly to various causes, including Rs 1.22 crore to the Telangana CM Relief Fund during the Covid-19 pandemic and Rs30 lakh to the Kerala government for disaster relief efforts. With a career spanning industry, policy advocacy, and philanthropy, Kondaveeti Sudhir Reddy has solidified his role as a leader in Telangana’s industrial ecosystem. Through his continued efforts, TIF remains a crucial force in driving MSME growth, sustainable industrial practices, and economic development in the State.
